YogaRocks! Mountain Fest?is a live music and yoga festival taking place for the first time Friday through Sunday at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons. The festival raises funds for Yoga World Reach, a Colorado-based non-profit committed to connecting yogi with opportunities to assist underserved populations around the globe.
YogaRocks! featured musical acts include, The Motet presents: JUNO WHAT?, Madonna back-up singer Donna De Lory, Girish, Shanti Groove and the Chris Webb Band.
Nationally-known, featured yoga instructors include Darren Rhodes, Alanna Kaivalia, Dave Farmar, Simon Park and now Seane Corn.
Corn has been featured in magazines including Glamour, Self, Yoga Journal and Allure and has become one of the most sought-after yoga teachers in America. Her clients have included Sting, Heather Graham, Ashley Judd, Drew Barrymore and David Duchovny. She also Nike yoga spokesperson and has been featured in the company ad campaigns. Although there has been plenty of fame, Corn deepest commitment is fueling the global yoga community emerging movement of sacred activism.
Corn is a devoted supporter of programs for at-risk girls and women and has joined with her friend Ashley Judd in supporting fundraising and awareness-campaigns for the educational nonprofit YouthAIDS. She also co-created off the yoga mat, Into the World,?a program that inspires yogi to find and define their purpose and become active in serving their local or global community.

In addition to leading a Vinyasa flow workshop dubbed piritual Activism?at YogaRocks!, Corn will be interviewed in a live taping of a television talk show Saturday evening on the YogaRocks! stage. Elevision, the interview show created by Waylon Lewis, publisher of Boulder-based Elephant Journal, has interviewed spiritual and yoga world luminaries including Robert Thurman, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Alice Walker, Richard Freeman and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
Episodes receive more than 100,000 views on sites including elephantjournal.com and youtube.com.
Festival passes, which include access to 25-plus yoga workshops, 20 live music acts, camping, the film program and a free gift bag with goodies from Pangea, Lululemon and Om Time Yoga props, are now on sale at www.yogawww.com. Tickets start at $125 per day or $195 for a full-weekend pass and $40 per day for the Camp YogaRocks! program, which includes day-long guided activities for children age 3 to 10 years old. The first 200 yogi and yoginis to purchase weekend passes will receive a free Manduka EKOlite yoga mat.
